September 14, 1996 is Catamount Software's first annual Home Brew competition. Registered users of Catamount products have know about this for a couple months now, but the date has finally been set. Now, the info from the newsletter

I mentioned this in the last newsletter, and I need to let you know the current status. The competition will take place on September 14th at 3:00pm. I've already received samples from Springfield, OR, someone from The Netherlands is planning on sending over 3 different samples, and there are a couple users sending homemade wine. This should be a fun contest.

The winner will receive a MessagePad model xxx (the model is probably going to be a MP100-- if Apple had released a new MessagePad at MacWorld then I would have given away one of my MP120s). The other contestants will also be receiving prizes (Kristine is in charge of those)..
