Awesome deeps.

I was just coming to the forum to grab the bank icons users had posted to add them into 3.0 of PocketMoney.

I'm glad that the 3.0 has updated and nice looking icons. PLUS u have the ability to delete custom made icons.
However, I still think (if technically feasible) one should have the option to be able to delete even the ones that come by default so there is no much clutter and save on some space.

My question though is: what should be the size for custom icons. I know it has been mentioned 30x30, but the ones I create in this size kind of look squarish and oversized, whereas the ones coming by default look nicer and more elegant ...

In any case many thanks to the developer for his great job and effort to support and implement user's requests. Congrats Hardy !!!

unimad,
I used 30x30 for all my custom icons and they look fine to me. Maybe its the software your using. I use photoshop and PNG format so that I get the alpha layer in there so its "see through" around the icon instead of a white square around it.

It's not feasible. The included icons are part of the main app bundle which can't be changed so it won't save any space and end up using more space with any sort of solution to let you delete the built in icons.

As for the clutter...users only access the icon's page when they initially setup the app so the clutter isn't a daily annoyance... it would take you more time to delete all the icons you didn't want than to pick the one you want.

So, with the 3.0.1 update I was finally able to start using PocketMoney. I made some account icons for Dutch banks: Rabobank, SNS Regio Bank and BinckBank.

There is a section in the user manual about creating icons and downloading them.

You'll have to find some software to resize the icon. I don't use photoshop. There are lots of freeware apps that will let you resize jpg, gif, png files.

Once you create the file then you can use SyncDocs to "Import from desktop..." and have it download the icon file. Or you can use the web browser method and send the file to PocketMoney.

Watch this video for using the web browser to transfer files.

My turn!

I've been playing rather than working (a bit) this afternoon so here are some of the results of my efforts:

I know it's a subsidiary of HSBC but it has its own name and branding etc. as a bank.

I guess this works for either the asset value of your car or the loan associated with it...as long as it's a Vauxhall.
