BUG report!

Postby muouyiyi » Sat May 05, 2012 11:56 pm

As what I mentioned in this post,
viewtopic.php?f=12&t=3397

with the latest update, still did not address this crash issue!

If you have a repeated transaction, click POST, the popup will let you confirm POST, tap Post again, the next popup window will ask you to keep old date or use today's date, You click Cancel, in this way, PM will crash right away, tested both on iPhone and iPad. Please FIX !!!!!!

What do you mean by "latest" update? 4.0.2 or 4.0.3 (just released yesterday)?

This bug existed after Hardy adjusted the budget and repeating transaction features, which means it should come with 4.0.
And it still crashes with update 4.02 or 4.03. You can simply reproduce this crash as above.

The 4.0.3 update seems cosmetic. I'm still sticking with PocketMoney Version 3 on all 3 iOS devices.

:? Well, if you are going to just cancel the posting, why did you tap on it in the first place? This seems to be a very, very, minor issue. However, if you're that concerned about it, did you follow the bug reporting procedure by opening an issue at http://bugs.catamount.com ?

I happened to cancel the posting, this is a common way to find bug, isn't it?

True, but also the bug could be in the computer that told you to tap on cancel instead of the OK button. Betcha never thought of that!

Seriously though, open an issue upon Mantis about it so that it at least is documented "officially".
