PM Freezes Up

I've been using PM 3.1.6 for almost a year now. Love the app. Lately, I've noticed that when trying to input data, it would freeze up in the middle of entering the info. I would have to exit out and go back into PM several times before it will work "normally". It almost seems like it has to warm up or something. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's all related to the payee auto-complete. I'm trying to find a solution that works for everyone (english to chinese users), but so far I haven't had any luck. One or the other solutions breaks. Version 3.1.6 is crashing regularly when I try to enter payees so I'm going to revert back to the old way of doing it where it would freeze for some users, but they can turn Off "auto complete payees" in the PM Prefs > managed lists..

I am new to this app for iPhone and Mac and while trying to learn the program, it freezes up after pressing the pocket money sync tab. Among other things, I am unable to sync between my two iPhones and the desktop, but I will post that to another site.
