.csv help

Postby happypappy » Wed Aug 12, 2009 4:01 pm

I exported my PocketMoney account into a .csv file. I then took it into Excel and played around with it. After I was finished, I went to try to import the original file back in (just to see how it worked), but did a restore instead of a backup. Now all my accounts are gone, and I cant get my original .csv file to import back in. I'm going to have a lot of stuff to re-enter tonight, aren't I? :(

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately, I don't have a itunes backup that will help. I have found a work though. I found a macro that works with Open Office that will convert my .csv to a .qif. I can get it into PocketMoney with very little complications too. The only thing that I can't figure out is the .qif file has every transaction with the correct dates, but when it is imported, they all have today's date. I have triple checked to make sure the formatting for the .qif and PocketMoney match, but I still have no luck. Any ideas?

Nevermind. I re-imported the file back into Open Office and the dates were missing. I re-exported it back out and then imported it into Pocket Money and everything is where it should be. Thanks again.
