Quicken replacement

Postby Confusedxx » Sat May 12, 2012 8:39 am

I am searching for a great replacement to Quicken. If that does not work, then something that would enable me to capture expenses on iPhone and load them to quicken.

Is there a good comparison between quicken and pocket money? Can pocket money download transactions, do budgeting and everything else that quicken does for all types of accounts( checking, saving, investments)?

First, this forum is for the old third-party syncing program, SyncDocs. You want to go to this one: viewforum.php?f=28

But basically, Quicken has been out for about 20 years; PMD has been out just under 2. Intuit has hundreds of programmers, Catamount basically has 1, Hardy, along with help from summer interns. So PMD does not yet do EVERYTHING that Quicken does. Investments are on the to-do list, but not real soon IIRC. PMD can import GIF/OFX/QFX files but can't yet directly download them. Personally, I dropped Quicken like a hot potato in 2010 and switched to PMD.
