Weird. As a test you might try using 24-hour time, as other than auto-set, that is the only difference between our settings. Unless, are you doing any QIF/OFX/QFX downloads from your banks? I wonder if they would trigger something like this?

I was having the same issues as Curare and I use 24-hour time. The latest update has fixed it for me.

Thanks for the info, Funslinger. The more data points the better.

Ok, I'm back at home and I managed to avoid opening PM during my trip. I have also switched my time to 24hrs. Next RT is scheduled for tomorrow. The transaction has been scheduled to post at 8:00AM. Hopefully it retains that time.

Thanks for your input, Funslinger. If you are not seeing the issue anymore, I feel better about starting from scratch if I have a bad file or something.

Curare, it sounds like for Funslinger using PMiOS 4.0.1 fixed his problem. Are you using it also?

Yup, I'm on 4.0.1. That's why I'm wondering if I should try deleting PM from my phone and set it up from scratch. It it doesn't work, I'll just restore from a backup.

That's about the only thing you haven't tried yet, right? If you delete it from your phone, download a fresh copy to the phone directly without going through iTunes. Just in case...

I tried changing the time to 24hr, and that didn't work. Posted the transaction at 0:00.

So, I deleted the app. Performed a hard reset on my iPhone (but to be doubly sure). Here are the steps I to get it all setup:

1) Downloaded PM from the App Store
2) Before creating any accounts, I changed the settings to post Repeating Transactions 61 days in advance.
3) Changed the Edit Transaction display option to show time
4) Setup my accounts with opening balances
5) Changed the view of transactions to show in descending order (newest transaction on top)
6) Setup the RTs and making sure that the correct time is showing up in RT section for future transactions as well

First posting of this new setup will occur on Wednesday, 4/18. I'll post my results, whether or not it works.

Well, after the first couple of days, mine have also started posting as 00:00 or 12:00 A.M. I noticed this today after I synced with PMD. I just went into PMiOS on my iPhone and changed the time back to 8:02. Now I'll sync with PMD again and see what happens.

Nothing changed in PMiOS, so I'll have to see what happens tomorrow.

BTW, I created a NEW bug report up on Mantis: http://bugs.catamount.com/view.php?id=3901

Thanks for the update, romad.

I just downloaded the PM update to 4.0.2. Hopefully that might fix it, but I won't know until Wednesday.

I doubt it as the "What's New" just says it fixes the iOS 3.x compatibility bug.

BTW, you could test it by manually changing the date to Wednesday. :)

Here is what happened when I turned on PM this morning in my iPhone. The daily RT that had posted yesterday with a 12:00 A.M. time and that I changed back to 8:02 A.M., processed (went from gray to black text) and kept the 8:02 time. Tomorrow's RT posted (in gray text) with the 8:02 time.

Thanks for the keeping track of it, romad.

Mine posted 12:00AM instead of 8:00AM. I also tried your suggestion of switching up the current date and this also posted other transactions to 12:00AM. I changed them back to 8:00AM. Hopefully they'll stick for the next month.

However, I found that if I go into the Repeating Transactions section and tap on Post on a transaction, I get a popup confirming I want to post and then another popup asking if I want to use today's date or old date. I tap on 'Keep old date'. When I go back to the account view, the correct time of 8:00AM is shown.

Since this worked, I am going to try to see if I edit a repeating transaction to 'Display Notification on Post Date', then I may get the question to either use today's date or old date.

Well, this morning, April 19th, the transaction that had posted yesterday with the correct time of 8:02, processed today with a time of 0:00, and tomorrow's transaction also posted with a time of 0:00.

So it looks like an RT will post/process correctly for only 48-72 hours, but then defaults to 0:00 or 12:00 A.M.

I added a note to the bug report I opened.
