Great App. I wish Quicken for Mac was half as good. Have you considered designing a Pocket Money software for Mac computers?

  2. Hardy Macia says:

    We are working on it.

    masurour,

PocketMoney is not available for the android platform yet. I’m hoping to have something available for Android in September.

If your going to make the software accessible to Mac, why not Windows platforms too. That way, data processed on the iPad or PC can be synced up so that nothing gets lost. The syncdocs program doesn’t work too good for the PC.

  7. Hardy Macia says:

    Chris,

I don’t know what you are referring to. You are posting in response to a CheckPlease for iPad posting.

PocketMoney for Desktops will work on OS X and Windows (as all the posts have said). SyncDocs works fine on PC, but you need to turn off ALL the firewalls and make sure you have java installed. (More an issue of windows than the app itself), but you can also use a web browser to transfer your data.

Posting in the most relevant forum would be ideal, I grant you, Hardy. However, having to disable all firewalls, even temporarily, is terribly inconvenient. For what it’s worth. Not to mention, some of your clients may not have the foggiest idea how to disable their firewall(s), especially if they have a hardware firewall.

  9. Hardy Macia says:

    Jason,

Agreed. It’s really only an issue on Windows as Window’s handling of firewalls is archaic. Not a big deal on Mac since current version of Mac just does the right thing. For Windows users that don’t want to disable the firewalls or open up the firewalls, then they do have the option of using the web browser transfers.
