Change Your Preferences
To open Preferences, tap
Tools > Preferences
on either the menubar for the Accounts or Transactions List. Three tabs will
appear grouping all Preferences. Select from one of the three links below to learn more
about each set of Preferences:
General Preferences
List settings
- Separator - Change this character if you want to change how you separate the
Transaction List items. This defaults to '/' on installation.
Password settings
- Password - By adding a password, you can deter others from accessing to your
private financial data. By adjusting the After value, you can control how long before the
password is activated due to lack of use. Several choices are provided.
Currency settings
- Use Multiple Currencies - Check this option if you want use multiple currencies and
exchange rates in your finances. If you chose to use this option, an extra tab will appear
when filling out account information and an additional control with a World Globe will appear
when you add or update a transaction for any given account.
- View Currency Details Before Edit - Check this option if want to see the details about
any given currency before editing it. If you leave this unchecked, you can still see its
details by Tapping and Holding on any given currency in the list and selecting the
View Currency Details option from the popup menu.

Split settings
- View Split Details Before Edit - Check this option if you want see your
Split Details View when you tap on any given split. If you leave this unchecked,
you will go immediately into editing the selected split. You can still see a
Split's Details by Tapping and Holding on any given split.
Filter settings
- View Filter Details Before Edit - Check this option if you want see your
Filter Details View when you tap on any given filter. If you leave this unchecked,
you will go immediately into editing the selected filter. You can still see a
Filter's Details by Tapping and Holding on any given filter.
